		    APNIC Request for Contribution

		      Issued: September 1, 1995
		      Expires: January 31, 1996

In order to continue and to improve the quality of service offered to
the Asia and Pacific Rim Internet communities by the Asia Pacific
Network Information Center, APNIC requires a stable and sufficient
source of income. At the second APNIC meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii, it
was agreed by the attendees that APNIC would institute a fee for
services based upon the self determined size of the organization. It
was intended that this funding plan would be put into operation on
September 1, 1995. However, due to technical reasons, the
implementation of this funding plan was delayed until after the third
APNIC meeting to be held in Singapore (see APNIC-013 for details).

In the interim, APNIC requests organizations benefiting from APNIC's
services contribute to the support of APNIC by providing funding.
Funds provided to APNIC in this interim period will be deducted from
the service fee imposed at the implementation of the APNIC funding
plan. In addition, organizations which contribute to APNIC prior to
the implementation of the funding plan will be allocated an account
number and thus will not need to pay the US $1000 startup fee.
Further, contributing organizations will become charter members of the
APNIC Contributors Committee which provides input and direction on
APNIC policy implementation.

In order to contribute funds to APNIC, please provide the necessary
billing details in the form provided below. We request you submit
this information to billing@postoffice.apnic.net. When we receive the
form below, we will send out an appropriate invoice. If you have any
questions, please contact APNIC at your convenience.
