		    APNIC Installment Payment Plan
			Issued: August, 1998

1. Introduction

Understanding the fact that some organizations may find a single lump
sum payment per year for their APNIC membership either inconvenient or
a hardship, the APNIC membership has voted to accept an installment
plan enabling organizations to spread the APNIC membership fee out
over a longer time frame.

2. APNIC Installment Plan

In order to facilitate organizations who may find paying a yearly lump
sum either an inconvenience or a hardship, the following installment
plan was approved at the Montreal APNIC meeting in July, 1996 and
modified in July, 1998 to account for the new "Very Large" tier. The
installment plan is:

                                        Category
                    ===============================================
Time Period small medium large very large
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Monthly: US $250 US $500 US $1000 US $2000
Quarterly: US $700 US $1400 US $2800 US $5600
Semi-Annual: US $1300 US $2600 US $5200 US $10400

This installment plan includes a surcharge for the additional
processing the handling of installments entails. In addition, it
should be noted that the one-time startup fee of US $1000 cannot be
paid in installments, it must be paid in full when the member joins
APNIC.

3. Conclusion

The APNIC Installment plan is intended to allow members to spread
their fees out over the year, thereby spreading the impact APNIC
membership fees might have over a longer time period.
